Midwest Climate Collaborative Educator Community of Practice: December Working Group

Description: Climate Generation is partnering with Midwest Climate Collaborative at Washington University in Saint Louis and the Science Education Research Center at Carleton College to host an Educator Community of Practice!

The Goals of the Community of Practice are to...

1. Explore climate change impacts and solutions happening in midwest communities.
2. Engage with effective and innovative climate instructional resources. 
3. Energize with a network of educators teaching climate change.

This working group meeting will be a facilitated, discussion-based event geared toward supporting educators as they process November and December's theme: Levers for Change. We will specifically explore ideas featured in November's Teach Climate Network Workshop: No Interest, No Problem- Strategies to Engage Teens in Climate Action in Their Communities. Attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback about the structure and function of the working group upon registration and through feedback surveys.
