Inspiring Stories

Inspiring Stories

About the Project

As we all know, it’s important to build and sustain a classroom based on authentic relationships. Cultivating relationships between teacher and learner, among learners, and between learners and current events, can deepen engagement and inspire hope for taking action against the climate crises.

There is no better way to do this than through storytelling!

We launched our Inspiring Stories project in October, which aims to foster deep engagement with educators through one-on-one climate storytelling coaching, and to prepare educators to engage their learners in climate storytelling work.

Over the course of Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, Inspiring Stories will build educators’ confidence in talking about climate change, prepare educators to do storytelling work with their audiences, and showcase a diversity of educator experiences in Climate Generation’s Storytelling Collection

Stories will be released once a month starting in October ‘23 through May ‘24. The full Inspiring Stories collection will be published in June of 2024. In addition to five Teach Climate Network educators, Inspiring Stories will also feature several new climate stories from members of Climate Generation’s Education Team. You can learn more about the Inspiring Stories participants below, and be sure to check back here each month to explore a new story!
