Climate Generation’s 2023 Benefit Event

You’re invited to join Climate Generation for an evening of honoring the progress of the climate movement, celebrating our organization’s legacy and newest chapter, and building community with each other.

April 26, 2023

5:00–8:30pm CT
Glass House, 145 Holden St N, Minneapolis, MN + virtual livestream

Tickets are available on a sliding scale, from $20–$250.

We are excited to present a hybrid event with both in-person and virtual attendance as we hear from leading voices in the climate movement. Reserve your seat or virtual ticket now!

Creating the equitable climate future we envision calls us each to identify our unique passions and activate them for the good of our generation and the next. This movement requires us to come as we are. It’s time to act, talk, create, lead, and teach. What is it time for, for you? What are your strengths calling you to do?

It’s time to unite our collective power and continue accelerating solutions to the climate crisis, together. We hope to see you in person or on the virtual livestream!

Jacqueline Patterson, MSW, MPH, is the Founder and Executive Director of the Chisholm Legacy Project: A Resource Hub for Black Frontline Climate Justice Leadership. Most recently, Patterson served for 11 years as the Senior Director of Environmental and Climate Justice at the NAACP. She has worked on gender justice, racial justice, economic justice, and environmental justice, with organizations including Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, IMA World Health, United for a Fair Economy, ActionAid, Health GAP, and the organization she co-founded, Women of Color United.

Ramiro Vazquez, Jr., our very own Youth Program Manager, will lead us through the evening together. Ramiro is an enrolled member of the Ojibwe Turtle Mountain Nation with many years of experience in youth activism and organizing. Ramiro has worked with youth in our Youth Environmental Activists program for almost a year, and he is excited to share about the incredible work they have done since he joined our team.
