An active YEA! MN school, the South High Green Tigers were recently awarded $1500 for their efforts to reduce single use water bottles at school. Student leaders applied for this award last year with support from Climate Generation and YEA! MN.
With this funding the Green Tigers have enough funding to purchase two more hydration stations to encourage their peers the use reusable water bottles; this is building off of a successful waste reduction campaign that students started last year.
